Software Toolbox Participates in OPC Interoperability Workshop
January 31, 2002, Charlotte, NC - Software Toolbox participated in the annual OPC Foundation
Interoperability workshop January 21-25, 2002 with their TOP Server OPC Server, OPC Data ActiveX, and Instrumentation ActiveX products. The OPC Interoperability Workshop is a technical
hands-on session sponsored by the OPC Foundation for developers from member companies to get together and test their
products for proper interoperability in a networked environment. The purpose of the sessions is to allow developers to
determine if they do have interoperabilty issues and gather the information needed to resolve them.
John Weber, President & Founder of Software Toolbox points out that "OPC Interop is an incredible testing laboratory to
augment the quality and test procedures used in development and provides test cases that you would not find if you only
tested your own product with your own client applications. We feel that we owe it to our clients to participate in this
workshop so that we can continue to provide them the best quality products and support possible."
