OPC Server Manager Maximizes Shop Floor Connectivity Uptime

The OPC Server Manager manages the status of connections from an OPC Server to plant floor devices, handling
redundancy at the device, network media, and network card level, allowing automatic tuning of communication timeout settings and device online/offline status for intermittently connected devices, and automated
notification to email and wireless devices of changes to the process operation.
System changes initiated by the OPC Server Manager are automatically logged to the secure Windows Event Log
for audit/maintenance purposes. Configuration is through a simple point-and-click interface that includes automatic configuration based on your OPC server choice.
Since the solution operates along side the OPC Server, the OPC Server Monitor can run alongside any
HMI/SCADA/Process Control system simultaneously using the OPC Server. No special setup or programming on the HMI system is required – the OPC Server Manager operates transparent to the HMI/SCADA/Process
Control system. The OPC Server Manager runs as a service for totally unattended operation on Windows NT/2000/XP. The OPC Server Manager works with TOP Server OPC Servers from Software Toolbox Inc. and the
KepServerEX from Kepware. Licenses are US$295 for use on a single computer with site/OEM licenses available.
