TOP Server New Features Added

September 7, 2001, Matthews, NC: Software Toolbox, Inc. today announced the addition of several new features in the drivers in their TOP Server product family. These features add to existing capabilities to provide users with more choice and flexibility in the use of the drivers.

AB Ethernet Suite - AB ControlLogix support enhanced to add support new structure types; AXIS_CONSUMED, AXIS_SERVO, AXIS_SERVO_DRIVE, AXIS_VIRTUAL.

Modbus Plus Driver - Support for the SA-85 PCI bus card version.

Modbus RTU Serial Master Driver - support for string datatype on Holding Register memory addresses

Siemens 505 family TCP/IP Ethernet Driver - support for string datatype on V memory area.

Toshiba Serial Driver - support for string datatype on D memory area.

Owners of existing licensed copies of the TOP server may upgrade their driver by downloading the demonstration version and running the installation set. Your licensing is preserved during the upgrade.
