DataHub® General Options

The Cogent DataHub has a number of General Settings features you will see when you first open up the properties window.  This includes:

• Data Change and overall timestamp behavior, which can be very helpful when working with data sources that do not provide a timestamp to systems that expect one.
• Startup behavior
• Declared Data Domains (how data is grouped inside the DataHub)
• Interface Language lets you choose the language you want the properties window to appear in.
• View Data starts the Data Browser to see current values of connected items
• View Connections button starts the Connections Viewer to show which types of connections the DataHub is currently using.
• Event Log button opens the Event Log to see any errors and control what is logged.
• Script Log button opens the Script Log and logs any data related to running scripts when using the DataHub Scripting feature
