The IntraVUE event logs are key to finding those intermittent problems that always seem to appear when no one is around but are gone by the time someone arrives to troubleshoot the problem.  By inspecting the event logs for specific devices you can find out specifically when devices when offline and came back, when ping threshold limits were exceeded which indicates congestion or intermittent connections, and even potentially identify bandwidth bottlenecks. You can even see when devices are moved from one port on a switch to another or from one switch to the other. That should put an end to the "no I didn't touch that cable" claims!

Event logs may be accessed by right clicking on a specific device, which brings up the events for that device only. From the System Menu (right click in the background), users can right click and access a search dialog to bring up certain events system wide.
