There are many ways that IntraVUE helps you find problems on your network. Here
we show you how from the Overview, problems are color code to stand out. In the Usage Scenarios section of the tour, we cover some more specific types of problems you can find with IntraVUE.
In the screen below, we show how IntraVUE shows some of the most common problems in connections.
GREEN: If a connection is OK, it is shown in green or black. Black connections are those not automatically discovered by
IntraVUE, such as non-Ethernet connections downstream of Ethernet to Fieldbus bridges, which you can add to your IntraVUE displays.
RED: If a device previously discovered is no longer responding to pings, it will be shown with a red line.
YELLOW: Connections shown in yellow indicate an alarm state. This could be a bandwidth utilization alarm, an excessive
number of failed pings even though the device appears to be up
