MANTRA Controller (Kernel)
The MANTRA Controller (Kernel) is a software module that executes user application logic. In
MANTRA-4Loop users may install many MANTRA Kernels on a Local Area Network (LAN). An application logic that Kernel executes is developed in and downloaded from MANTRA
Application Developer.
The MANTRA Kernel is a Window service. This method lets you work on developing a configuration while your system is executing the current configuration.
When the Kernal is running you can tell by the Icon in your Windows Toolbar.
MANTRA Simulation Kernel
MANTRA Simulation Kernel is a Windows service that simulates MANTRA 47 and MANTRA MCTL
controllers. The Simulation Kernel is provided to test application logic before downloading it to the
real controller. MANTRA Simulation Kernel cannot execute IO communications, and will time out
after two hours. All other functions of MANTRA Simulation Kernel are the same as those of MANTRA 47 or MCTL controllers.
