 The newest version of the TOP Server (Version 4.300.449) was released earlier this fall and includes New Drivers, New Plug-ins and Enhancements to many existing drivers.

New Drivers:
OPC DA Client Driver
The TOP Server OPC DA Client Driver can be used to aggregate data from a number of OPC Servers and made available to clients of the TOP Server through all supported interfaces, like SuiteLink, NIO/PDB and DDE. This provides the ability to connect to any OPC DA Server and connect your Wonderware, iFix or DDE Client through its native interface. For Wonderware users, this will provide the ability to replace FSGateway or OPCLink in many cases.
Torque Tool Ethernet
 The TOP Server Torque Tool Ethernet Driver is designed to work with any device that supports the Torque Tool Open Protocol, such as the Stanley QA Alpha Controller and Atlas Copco Power Focus units.
- Useful anywhere assembly tools with digital data collection interfaces are used
- Used extensively in automotive industry
- Reads in torque results, VIN #, alarms, calibration data, job status data
It is intended for use with applications such as HMIs or custom applications that support OPC, Fast DDE, SuiteLink, AdvancedDDE, NIO/PDB and DDE to connect them to Torque Tool devices communicating over Ethernet.

Two of the most exciting are Siemens S7300/400 redundancy support and New DNP event buffer support.
Siemens S7300/400 Redundancy Support
The new version of the Siemens Ethernet driver now supports automatically created tags for S7 300/400 device for Rack and CPU number.
These tags let you change the value for the Rack and CPU number along with the <channel>.<device>._System._DeviceID tag for IP address, lets you change these values at runtime from your HMI when the communication tag goes into the error state.
Please contact us by submitting an inquiry on our support site if you need this feature for your Siemens MP277 and MP377 panels also as the Siemens provided drivers don’t support these redundant PLC’s.
New DNP Event Buffer Support
Event Buffering Support has now been added to the TOP Server DNP driver! This feature lets you read back values stored in the DNP device event buffer one value at a time.
 The configuration lets you determine how fast each value is returned to your Client software, so that it can be properly stored. The timestamps come from the device, so rate at which the values are returned won’t effect the time values associated with the event values and all stored events will be seen by your client application. This can be very helpful if you are attempting to log the data for all the events and store the timestamps from the device. This feature is key for remote connections used with DNP devices.
The latest version of the DNP driver was released after the main download and thus is not included in the latest download. However, it is available upon request, so please contact us by submitting an inquiry on our support site if you need the DNP Event Buffering support for demo/trial or for a licensed product upgrade.
