DataHub Node License - Part # 41290101, US$995.00
This is the most commonly used license with the OPC DataHub because it is used in the most common applications.
- Provides unlimited DDE, OPC, Tunnelling, Bridging, Scripting, ODBC, Linux and QNX connections.
- You need a DataHub License on each computer running the DataHub software.
- There are many applications that only need a single DataHub license
- Example below shows OPC DataHub tunneling between an OPC DA Client and an OPC DA Server
DataHub TCP Link License - Part # 41290102, US$595.00
- If you connect your program to OPC DataHub using the DataHub API, you need a DataHub TCP Link License for each concurrent program connection.
- The DataHub will free a concurrent TCP Link License immediately when a client using it disconnects from the
DataHub, allowing for efficient use of your TCP Link Licenses
- DataHub TCP Link Licenses are installed on the same computer as the DataHub that is serving the TCP/IP
connections. The DataHub license will manage the concurrent TCP Link licenese
- If you connect to OPC DataHub using OPC or DDE, then you do not need a DataHub TCP Link License.
- Example - if you are connecting an HMI/SCADA system to DataHub using OPC, you do NOT need TCP Link LIcenses
- DataHub TCP Link Licenses are also used when Java Applets in Web pages are used to connect to DataHub. A
single JavaApplet connection can manage all data for a single web page, regardless of the # of Java Applets used to visualize data, allowing for efficient license usage.
- Volume and Unlimited TCP Link Licensing is available.

DataHub WebServer License - Part # 41290103 - US$895.00
- The DataHub Web Server License enables the DataHub Web Server.
- This license gives you an unlimited number of simultaneous AJAX and ASP connections to the DataHub.
