What's new in OPC DataHub Version 6.4?
There have been many new features added and significant improvements made to the DataHub engine since the previous release version.

Here is a summary of the new features in Version 6.4
- SSL encryption for tunnelling and mirroring connections between DataHubs.
- User name and password authorization and access control.
- New user interface for logging to an ODBC database.
- New user interface for sending email messages. Email messages have full access to the DataHub's data.
- Support for one-dimensional array data types, including automatic mapping between Excel arrays and OPC arrays.
- Improved options for OPC client connections. Improved handling of OPC client connections on large or slow OPC servers.
- New Java table applet, as part of improved support for building web pages, including more examples and tutorials.
- Improved DataHub support for AJAX and ASP in web pages.
- Improved DataHub (Gamma) scripting support.
- Improved tunnelling and TCP connection support.
- Added a binary mode message transfer to speed up TCP communication on x86 computers.
- Improved DDE support.
- Allow logging of the Event Log to disk.
- Improved support for wide character sets in point names, web pages and Gamma scripts.
- Improved support for locales that do not use "." as the decimal separator.
- New installer archive works with all supported version of Windows (NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista).
- Improved support for ODBC databases.
- Multiple fixes and improvements to other features.
- Updated help documentation that includes reference material for all new features and a new comprehensive introduction for DataHub Scripting.
