What kind of details can I record within an alarm notification? You can include the alarm Id, Group, Alarm Text, Alarm Type, Priority, if the alarm has been acknowledged, Alarm
Value, Time, Acknowledged time, Active Status, any Delay, Cleared values and times.
Can I receive email notifications for alarms? YES.
What about sending those notifications to multiple people? Sure. Email whoever you like, we don't limit you to a fixed number of email addresses.
Can I create my own application to receive alarm notifications? YES. This product does indeed include a 100% Managed .NET component you can use within your WinForm applications.
You could use the OPC WebAlarm .NET to give web-pages the alarm display and acknowledgment capabilities.
Can I modify the value of other tags when an alarm condition is met? Absolutely. You can set the value of any tag based on any of the conditions outlined in the question regarding what
details can be included within an alarm notification.
