Data logging to SQL Server, SQL Server Desktop (MSDE) or Express, Access, Oracle, mySQL using
Native interfaces.
- Also log data to CSV files so you can open them in Excel..
- Unique data handling from local and remote services that never misses data values as fast as 100 nanoseconds.
- Runs as a Windows Service
- Free configuration application to allow on-line modifications from local or remote systems.
- Combine with OPC Trend.NET for historical trend replay.
Each License activates 1 OPC Systems Service for support of local data logging from local and remote OPC Systems Services.
Features
- Data logging to SQL Server, SQL Server Desktop (MSDE) or Express, Access, Oracle, mySQL using Native interfaces.
- 100 nanosecond resolution for Data Logging.
- Implement continuous logging as fast as 100 nanoseconds
- Implement event driven logging
- Implement or time of day logging.
- Activate logging from OPC values.
- Change the database server, database name, table name, or CSV path and file on-the-fly.
- Log values from remote OPC Systems Services with no loss of data if established connection lost for less than 10k records.
- Support on-line modification for all properties.
I have questions....
Can I write a value to a tag if data has been logged successfully? (otherwise known as "handshaking" or "write-back") YES.
Can I delete old/stale data after xx days? YES. You can specify an "age" in terms of days, and records older than this will be deleted so you can conserve disk space.
Can I activate logging based on another Tag value, such as when a Tag goes high? YES.
Can I log as many tags as I like? YES. While there are no artificial constraints within the application, there may be actual constraints that your
system/database/network can handle, so special care and attention should be taken to investigate how your unique equipment performs.
Can I log to multiple locations? YES.
