• Windows NT(Workstation or Server Editions), 2000 (Pro or Server Editions), 2003, XP Pro
• 15 Mb Hard Disk Space
• 32 Mb RAM
• An ActiveX container application (see list below)

Supported Containers

The following are container applications that are supported by Software Toolbox for use with the Symbol Factory ActiveX. This means that the product has been tested with that container and technical support is available when working with the container. 

Fully supported containers:

• Visual Basic 5.0 and 6.0
• Visual C++ 5.0 and 6.0
• Intellution iFix 2.1 or higher
• Indusoft WebStudio 5.0 or higher

Containers supported with limitation: The containers below support Symbol Factory ActiveX; however, because the containers do not support windowless ActiveX controls, the setting of the .BackStyle property = Transparent is not supported. There is nothing we are able to do about that - it is a limitation of the container that we are forced to live with.

• Visual Studio .NET 2003 - VB.NET, C#.NET
• RSView32 and RSView Enterprise
• Iconics Genesis32
• Wonderware InTouch 7.x through 9.x

There are hundreds, possibly thousands of ActiveX container applications in the world, so If your container is not listed it does not mean the product may not work - in fact it may work well, in which case please tell us that you've tried the product in your container.
